What is the difference between "Exchange" and "Leverage" modes?

The cryptoplatform Currency.com has two trading modes: "Leverage" and "Exchange". The switch between the two can be found on the top bar of the platform or at the bottom of the mobile app interface.

In "Exchange" mode, you can place market and limit orders for buying and selling. Please note that in this mode, selling is possible only if you already have the corresponding tokenised asset or cryptocurrency in the "Wallets" tab.

"Leverage" trading mode allows you to increase the traded amount for operations. For example, Leverage 1:10 means: you will be able to open a Leverage-operation of up to 10,000 USD.cx with a prepayment of 1,000 USD.cx.

In "Leverage" trading mode, you can place market, limit, and stop orders and set stop-loss and take-profit conditions.

You can use the following virtual wallets as collateral for Leverage transactions: BTC, ETH, USDT, USD.cx, EUR.cx, GBP.cx, RUB.cx, BYN.cx.

In the mobile app, this tab is located in the Portfolio.

You can only use the wallet whose tokens represent the currency of the selected tokenised asset.
The required token will be indicated in the tokenised asset information window (the "i" icon on the right side of the web interface or the bottom of the mobile app page).

"Portfolio" tab

This tab in the web version reflects the current Leverage operations as well as Leverage orders and Exchange Orders.

In the mobile app, this tab accommodates several internal tabs. The "Leverage" mode includes the "Trades", "Leverage Orders" and "Alerts" tabs.

Purchased tokenised assets can be seen in the "Wallets" tab.

In the mobile app, the "Wallets" tab is in the "Portfolio".

Alerts (Price alerts)

Alerts can only be set up in the mobile app. Active alerts are displayed in the "Portfolio" tab of the mobile app (far right tab).

There is no possibility to set price alerts for transactions in "Exchange" mode.
